An Egyptian Goose, lopochen aegyptiaca, busy bathing a small calm birding lake in the Witpoortjie Botanical Gardens of South Africa. The Egyptian Goose, is not a true goose, but rather a type of Shelduck. This is the duck featured in Egyptian Hyroglyphs, from where it gets its name.
