Airmen with 308th Rescue Squadron, 920th Rescue Group, 920th Rescue Wing, board a Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, during an alternate insertion and extraction exercise near Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, Feb. 2, 2023. This training was conducted to enhance alternate insertion and extraction method capabilities which included hoist, fast rope, and rappel operations. These methods provide joint cohesion and multiple techniques for personnel recovery.
