Fore wing red-brown with a faint purplish tinge ; antcmedial line brown, rather indistinct, oblique ; a black discoidal point, in the male forming a slight streak beyond the fovea ; postmedial line brown slightly defined on outer side by grey, oblique from costa to vein 6, then dentate, bent inwards below vein 3 and outwards below submedian fold ; subterminal line represented by a series of slight somewhat dentate blackish spots, somewhat excurved below vein 7 and ending on termen above tornus ; a slight fuscous terminal shade from below apex to vein'2; a fine w4iitish line at.
