Most of the ore is taconitiof the hardest of iron ores, and its crushing to suitable size for blast fuiwork is a hard problem. To handle this ore the Biwabik MCo., in 1901, installed the largest andmost powerful breaker that bad beenbuilt up to that time, and this naturalattracted considerable attention.
