Marines with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment (1/3), conduct a patrol during Fuji Viper 16-3 on Camp Fuji, Fuji, Japan, Feb. 9, 2016. The Marines of 1/3 conducted a patrol as a part of long range assault training to sustain their proficiency in combat operations. Fuji Viper 16-3 is a training exercise where Marines and Sailors conduct live fire and non-live fire combined arms training in order to sustain combat proficiency to support contingency operations in the Pacific Command area of operations.
