PUERTO BARRIOS, Guatemala (Sept. 25, 2017) Navy Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Byron Hewitt, assigned to Navy Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit 5, participates in a mass casualty drill, during a subject matter expert exchange with Guatemalan sailors at Commando Naval del Caribe, a Guatemalan naval base, in support of Southern Partnership Station 17. SPS 17 is a Navy deployment executed by Naval Forces Southern 4th Fleet, focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nation militaries and security forces in Central and South America.
