Service members from participating nations receive opening remarks during the opening ceremony of Tradewinds 2021. This year’s event features units representing military forces from both active and reserve components. personnel included members of the Florida National Guard’s 54th Security Force Assistance Brigade. Tradewinds 2021 is a Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined and interagency training, focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
