Gibson, of Nappanee, Ind., has purchased a half interest in the greenhouse business of Gustav Naack, of Batavia. The new firm is do- ing business under the name of Naack & Walter. Pawnee City, Neb.—J. M. Atkinson, proprietor of the Northedge Nurseries, had conducted a greenhouse in connec- tion with the nurseries for a number of years and has now opened a downtown retail flower store. The population of Pawnee is only about 1,800, but he looks forward to doing a nice business. Congo, W. Va.—Howard's Gardens are owned and operated by A. P. Howard's Sons. This range consists of three large greenhouses and eighty acres of garden land, which are devoted en- tirely to growing cut flowers, fruit and vegetables.
