Military Merit Order - a commander's cross in its award case, circa 1900, Neck cross fashioned in gold from the workshop of the Hemmerle brothers in Munich. The separately inset flames are finely engraved, the blue enamel lightly translucent and of especial brilliance. Minimal scratches caused by usage. Width 56 mm. Weight g. Together with the original neck ribbon for wear, in the customary red leather award case of the Hemmerle firm (paper signet) used until ca. 1903, with gold imprint "Bayr.
