This arrangement is admirable, inasmuch as itadmits of a lengthened season of cutting—the border plantsfurnisliing tho earliest bloom ; these are followed by thoseunder the trees, and the exposed plants come in latest. Thecommon Moss Rose, so well known in gardens, is not largelycultivated, as it is neither robust nor free enough _ for marketpurposes, the sort most in favour is a deep red kind, perhapsa little less mossy than the common JNEoss, but the flowers areproduced in great abundance, a strong shoot bearing seven oreight good buds, all of which will open well, bu
