Ferns are in strong demand. Various Notes. The local florists have just received notice of the meeting of the Tennessee State Florists' Association, to be held in Nashville January 28. It was with a gn^eat deal of pleasure that the local trade noted in the issue of The Review of January 2 the appoint- ment of Karl P. Baum on the committee of American Products of the S. A. F. To be chosen to serve this important inter- est with such distinguished gentlemen as F. R. Pierson and E. G. Hill is indeed an honor. Baum's Home of Flowers is showing choice baskets of cut flowers, including lilies, Columbia, Hoosier Beauty and Russell roses and Soleil d'Or narcissi. Fine ferns also are featured here. A. H. Dailey has had a good deal of funeral work of late. A. J. McNutt continues busy. He has plenty of stock. Arthur S.
