170408-N-GI441-082 ARABIAN GULF (April 8, 2017) An F/A-18C Hornet attached to the "Raging Bulls" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 37 launches from the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77) (GHWB) as an EA-18G Growler, attached to the “Lancers” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 131 prepares to launch. GHWB is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
