A glass of The Mission’s own Kapiti Port wine accompanied with a cheese platter of vintage cheddar, Te Mata Bay View Blue and Brie fromage de Meaux with fresh fruit, a selection of dry biscuits, a bunch of own grown red grapes, mixed dried fruit & nuts and dried prunes. This is part of the menu at New Zealand's oldest winery and birthplace, 'The Mission Estate in Napier, Hawkes Bay on North Island. The Mission was created by French monks or Missionaries who settled in the area in the eighteenth century.
