Colonel Robert Lilburne, died a prisoner on Drake's Island in 1665. Lilburne, 1613-1665, was an English Parliamentarian soldier, Leveller and regicide of King Charles I. With his autograph and seal. Within a frame decorated with vignettes of skull and cross bones, chains and executioner’s axe, a man hanging from a gibbet at Tyburn, a condemned man on a sled, the Tower of London, Newgate Prison.
