A percussion rifle, Greis, Munich, circa 1830. Octagonal, reblued barrel with eight-groove rifling in 12 mm calibre and dovetailed iron sights. There is a signature "Greis in München" inlaid on the breech in silver. Smooth percussion lock with set trigger. Walnut full stock with cheek piece, patch box, horn nose cap, checkered grip, and adjustable peep sight. Iron furniture with a wooden trigger guard. Ramrod is a replacement.
