The women’s group meets weekly at the newly constructed Ntaseka Clinic Maternity Ward in the Kamange neighborhood of Bujumbura. This self-help group gives these women a safe space to meet productively with others who have similar experiences, and help them overcome and come up with strategies for many of the challenges they face including poverty, and gender-based violence.
