The Port of New York Grain Elevator Terminal in the neighborhood of Red Hook in New York

The Port of New York Grain Elevator Terminal in the neighborhood of Red Hook in New York is seen during City Of Water Day on Saturday, July 20, 2013. The grain elevator was originally part of the NYS Barge Canal and was built in 1922 and is now part of the GBX-Gowanus Bay Terminal and is used for video and movie shoots. Future uses are considered for the storage of cement. The City of Water Day reconnects New Yorkers with the waterfront offering opportunities to see industrial uses as well as recreational uses.
