Two car class 156 diesel multiple unit from Morecambe to Barrow-in-Furness (2C39) leaving leaving platform 2 at Carnforth station. Platform 2 has the longest unsupported cantilever roof in the World at 890 feet long and was built in 1939. The train is a diesel multiple unit operated by Northern trains number 156 463. Behind the two cars is the disused Midland signal box at the end of platform 1.
