Lake Iseo, Italy. 2nd July, 2016. Italy's Lake Iseo hosted "The Floating Piers", a unique project by Bulgarian-born artist Christo which allowed visitors to walk from Sulzano, on the eastern edge of Lake Iseo, to the island of Monte Isola. Christo created three km of floating pathways which consisted of 100,000 square meters of yellow fabric, carried by a modular dock system of 220,000 high-density polyethylene cubes. At the end of the 16 days period, all the components will be removed and industrially recycled. Credit: PACIFIC PRESS/Alamy Live News
