Flesh deep red, somewhat coarse; seeds brown. White Mountain (Midget) 5 65 A small, early, ice-box type, 7" long x 6" diameter, introduced by the New Hampshire Experiment Station. Rind rather thin, light green with darker, irregular stripes, flesh red and sweet. Seeds black. Winona 40 95 Resembles a long type of Florida Giant. Fruits large, short cylindrical, blunt-ended, with tough, dark green rind. Flesh bright red, solid and sweet. Seeds Tom Watson: the old favorite.
