Red and white chalk cliffs at HUnstanton Norfolk East Anglia
The cliffs at Hunstanton are a famous geological location. The top white layer is Upper Cretaceous chalk. Immediately beneath this is red coloured Lower Cretaceous chalk and beneath that is the red-coloured carstone.
