Ceanothus impressus Trel. Santa Barbara Ceanothus Native of S. California from Santa Barbara Co. to San Luis Obispo Co., an evergreen scrub, flowering in March and April. Dense evergreen shrub to 2 m. Flower clusters narrow, to cm long. Flowers deep blue. Leaves wrinkled, dark green and small only around 1cm long. Hardy to -10°C.
