The Shard in London


The Shard is an 87 storey skyscraper completed in November 2012 forming part of the London Bridge Quarter on the South Bank of the Thames. The building was designed by the architect Renzo Piano. The building is also referred to as the Shard of Glass and formerly London Bridge Tower. The Shard stands at approximately 306m (1,004 ft) high.
