Harila started with Annapurna on April 28 last year, then climbed Dhaulagiri before moving onto the world’s third highest peak, Kangchenjunga. She then bettered her own record for the Everest/Lhotse linkup by taking just over nine hours to complete both on May 22, having previously climbed them in 12 hours. On May 27, Harila summited Makalu for her sixth in just 29 days. She went on to summit Nanga Parbat on July 1, K2 on July 22, Broad Peak on July 28, Gasherbrum II on Aug. 8, Gasherbrum I on Aug. 11 and Manaslu on Sept. 22. She climbed Shishapangma last Wednesday.
