He was claim attorney for theGrand Trunk Railway and became associatedwhile in that connection with Judge KenesawM. Landis, who was then a practicing lawyer,not yet liaving made his noted decision in theStandard Oil Case. He remained in associationwith Judge Landis until the latter was promot-ed to the bench, and Mr. Jones then came backto his boyliood home and formed a partnershipwith Mr. Paul R. Chubbuck, which continueduntil about a year ago. Mr. Jones is forging tothe front as a lawyer, and already is at the headof one of the strong law jiractices of the A\illiam C. Jones.
