A steel helmet M 16 for members of the Freikorps Oberland, The skull with the typical, original brownish-green lacquer. Painted in the centre at the front the original edelweiss on a red lozenge, as symbol of the Freikorps Oberland. The inside of the skull struck with the mark "G 62". The three white leather pads with pouches attached to the iron ring with three rivets, illegible manufacturer's mark on one pad. Chinstrap missing.
