1903 - Former Primitive Methodist Church & Sunday School, Whitby, North Yorkshire, UK. When decommissioned it was turned into a private residence, later becoming an Indian restaurant. The original chapel on this site was built in 1821 at a cost of £1,000. The Sunday School was added in 1835. It was partially rebuilt and enlarged in 1841 and again in 1902 (Pictured) It was designed by Architect, Smithson - completed 1903 -cost £4,150, money being raised by women worshipers surnamed Clifford, Gray, Benson, Bowron, Wrightson, Cariss and Langley. Robert Goodwill was local stonemason.
