The head of women's representation was changed at a later period and probably represents the Empress Lucille (wife of Lucius Verus, 161 to 169 AD). The Emperor Hadrian was the first of the emperors to be depicted as a god during his lifetime. The group reflects the taste of the Hellenistic era hadrianique and renewal of the neoclassical style.
