CALAMA, Brazil (Feb. 14, 2019) Lt. Cmdr. John Roman removes an epidermal inclusion cyst from a patient at the Benjamin Silva-Calama clinic in Calama, Brazil, Feb. 14. The visit marks the third stop of a month-long mission by four Navy physicians and their Brazilian Navy counterparts aboard Brazilian Navy Oswaldo Cruz-class hospital ship NAsH Carlos Chagas (U 19) to exchange medical expertise and to bring medical care to isolated communities along the Amazon River.
