Gerald William Massy is a native of County Limerick, Ireland, andthe son of James Fitzgerald and Elizabeth (Preston) Massy, who own themagnificent Stoneville estate where Gerald William was bom and whichhas been owned by the Massy family ever since 1737. One of the ancestorsof the family acquired the estate from the British government for servicesrendered in one of the countrys early wars.
