Gröna Lund Once upon a time, almost 300 years ago, rowing madam’s rowed inhibitors from today’s Old Town (that was all of Stockholm those days) out to the island Djurgården for a pub-crawl among the over 30 taverns located there. At Djurgården one went to have fun and pleasure. About 120 years ago a family decided to start an amusement park, Gröna Lund, and as times went by it grew and became more and more popular. Today Gröna Lund is still in the possession by the same family and is more beloved than ever. Over 1,2 million visitors have fun at Gröna Lund every year. This is of couse a very enjoyable amusement park for both children and adults. It contains all kind of modern and popular attractions as well as small comfy restaurants. Here you can spend many hours having fun and enjoying good meals. You can also bring your own food and have a picnic nearby the water’s edge in an amusement park in the midst of a capital in Europe a pleasant and unique possibility
