A new and beautiful steam-yacht, of un-rivalled speed, connects with steamers from AVoods Hole and NewBedford, at Oak Bluffs; or you can go by rail, a new and elegantlyequipped narrow-gauge Ioad having been built from Oak Bluffs toKatama. And the citizens of Edgartown, alive to the requirements ofthe public, have laid out and constructed a splendid drive-way of twelvemiles, extending from Katama to Vineyard Haven, via Edgartown andOak Bluffs. Steamers will run daily. In a word, every thing whichexperience can dictate is being done to make this a popular summerresort, and a pleasant seaside THE SEA-VIEW BOULEVARD. Tins fine drive-way, commencing at Katama, extends twelve miles alongthe coast to Vineyard Haven. It has been constructed by the citizens ofEdgartown, to meet the increasing wants of visitors. From Katama toEdgartown it continues along the table-land to and through the couple of miles beyond, it leads down to the sea, approaching it betweentwo smaller bodies of water, which lay contiguous to and parallel with 118 POPULAR KESORTS, AND HOW TO REACH THEM, the ocean. That upon the right, and nearer Edgartown, is known as Crys-tal Lake, — a beautiful pond, one mile in diameter. On the left we passthe foot of San-cha-can-tack-et Lake, which for miles is only separatedfrom the sea on our right by a natural dike, evidently thrown up by somemighty convulsion, or by the action of the waves,
