New years day bridge jump for charity .Teams in fancy dress took part in the annual event in the village of Mapleton,starting with a boat race down the river dove then a short run to the bridge where they then jumped in to the river Dove,swam to the edge and raced up to the pub for the finsih ,were a warm drink and clothes were in conditions very windy and heavy rain kept the crowds down this year.
