ARABIAN GULF (March 28, 2017) An E2-C Hawkeye early warning and control aircraft assigned to the "Bear Aces" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 124 sits on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77). The ship is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
