Calle Cairuán - waterway surrounding the medieval city walls of the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba, Spain.

This tranquil street starts at the Almodóvar Gate, running down a flight of steps in front of the statue of the Roman dramatist Seneca and following the full length of the Medieval city walls which enclose the Jewish Quarter. Water cascades down from a series of pools linked by water channels. The end of this charming street is marked by the seated statue of Averroes, the famous doctor and philosopher of Islamic Cordoba.
