Barry Broadhead uses a welding gun to seal a crack in a damaged engine part Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Holloman Air Force Base, The extreme heat generated by the welding gun fuses cracked parts of the metal together. Broadhead primarily works in the sheet metal and welding shops helping to repair damaged engine parts from the T-38 Talon. Broadhead is a contracted welder assigned to the 49th Maintenance Group.
