The bands had people on their feet and dancing in the grass as cottonwood seeds floated through the air like snowflakes and the sun sank through the trees. The 101st Army Band features an array of musical ensembles that perform across a wide spectrum of musical styles and in a variety of environments. From Concert Band to Marching Band, Dixie to Rock and Roll. As "Colorado's Musical Ambassadors" the band performs across the entire state. No other unit has as much direct contact with the public nor as diverse a training schedule. The unit consists of 41 citizen-soldiers.
