The boiler should be able to heat a greenhouse 20x 50 feet, for which I would use eight 1^-inch returns in addition to one 1%- inch flow pipe. Of course if the radiation in the present plant is insufficient, or if it is 80 arranged that it does not give good results, it would be possible to help it out by putting in a few steam pipes to be used in severe weather. For that purpose the boiler described would an- swer for 500 lineal feet of 114-inch pipe, 400 feet of l^^-inch pipe, or 600 feet of 1-inch pipe. HARTFORD, CONN. The Market. Business is dull.
