The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and the Met Police Commissioner, Cressida Dick, launches a knife crime strategy at Dwaynamics Boxing Club, which will tackle the deeply concerning rise in knife crime across the capital, especially among young Londoners. · Dwaynamics is a boxing and fitness club started by the late Dwayne Simpson, who founded the club to address the lack of positive activities for young people in Angell Town Estate. 20 years old Dwayne was stabbed to death in February 2014 as he tried to protect a friend from being attacked. Dwayne’s mother, Pastor Lorraine Jones, has carried on Dwayne’s work, and is widely known for her work with young people in the Angell Town community.
