Osgood. Deinon Legein Club The Deinon Legein Club is the Paiiimentary Law and Debating Clubof the University. It was organized at the rooms of the Shields brothers,831 Poplar street, last fall, and weekly meetings were held there duringthe winter months. A large portion of the discussion was of a politicalnature, and most of the leading questions of the political world werediscussed at the meetings. The membership of the Club is limited strictly to ten, and an absenceis sufficient cause for expulsion from the Club. P^ach member is requiredto take part in the Parlimentary Drill and the Debating at each meeting. The Deinon Legein Club is also the Local League of the Intercolle-giate Prohibition association. There are hundreds of these Local Leaguesin most of the leading schools of about thirty states of the Union.
