The proper selection of tools is alwaysappreciated by the men and they will always workmore willingly, more intelligently and more effectivelywith proper tools. For ordinary average shoveling inearth a shovel which carries about 20 lb. of materialis about right; for high lifts or very long casts, onesize smaller than this should be used.
