Preparing \Return to Flight\" mission. Satellite image of the space shuttle Discovery at Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA, on 8 April 2005. Discovery is just right of centre, surrounded by the access roads for the launch pad. The surrounding wetland area, clouds, and part of the Atlantic Ocean (bottom right) are also seen. This is part of preparations for mission STS-114, \"Return to Flight\", the first flight of a space shuttle since the space shuttle Columbia broke up on re-entry in February 2003. After Discovery arrived at the launch pad in April 2005, ice was discovered on its external fuel tank. The launch was postponed until July, and has been postponed again since then.
