Moored Boats in the lock pound mid flight at the Caen Hill Locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal. This impressive flight was engineer John Rennie's solution to climbing this very steep hill in Devizes. The 29 lock flight is packed into just over two miles but it is these 16 in a straight line, visible in the distance, which have given the flight it's status as one of the Seven Wonders of the Waterways.
