A small artery is encrustedwith several layers of corpuscles and nuclei. and especially the motor nerve-cells, have almost entirely disappeared. Wliere the change isslighter in degree there is a leucocytal infiltration, a few granulecorpuscles are seen, while the nerve-cells may be structurally intact,but swollen, and granular.
