english heritage blue plaque marking a former home of artist eric ravilious, facing the river thames in hammersmith, west london. ravillious lived here from 1931 to 1935 with his wife, tirzah garwood, before the couple moved to essex. commissioned as a war artist, ravillious was killed in 1942 during an air sea rescue mission with the royal air force off iceland
