NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Jan. 8, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) departs Naval Station Rota, Spain. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, is on its sixth patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners and national security interests in Europe.
