The Convict Brick Trail at Cambell Town, Tasmania, Australia. The Trail commemorates the approximataely 75,000 convicts transported from England to Tasmania between 1803 and 1853. Many passed through or worked at Cambell Town. Irishwoman Catherine Shelvin, 1828 - 1877, was sentenced to 7 years transportation for stealing a shawl. She arrived in Van Diemen's Land in 1853 on board the Midlothian.
