AlbertG. Gale was an early settler of , as was also Nancy R. McConnell. whom hesubsequently married, and who. bom in Leba-non, Tenn., was a daughter of David McConnell,a native of Kentucky. Albert G. Gale was ashoemaker by trade and followed this occu-)iation for many years in Winchester, laterturning his attention to merchandising, inwhich he was engaged at the time of his deathin 1866.
