Sergeant Ronald L. Ridgeway, a former prisoner of war, is reunited with his family during Operation Homecoming at Camp Pendleton, California, on March 19, 1973. The Ridgeway family, including Raymond L. (18) and James (6), had traveled from Houston, Texas, to welcome him back. Sgt. Ridgeway was reported missing in action in August 1968 and was earlier presumed killed. He enlisted in June 1967. The photograph is courtesy of Pfc.
