Lake Bakhtegan is a salt lake in Fars Province, S. Iran, about 160Êkm east of Shiraz. Bakhtegan is Iran's second-largest lake. It is fed by the Kor River. However, Bakhtegan is now completely dry due to the dams built on the river.
